It's been a LONG time since I woke up on a Saturday and didn't immediately rush out to do something. It's kind of nice to just have a little time to read and be lazy. I think I'll even leave the TV off. :)
I had a nice night last night. I got to happy hour and it was hard to leave 'cause it was a good group and I was having fun conversation. I picked up Scott and we grabbed some Popeye's and went to see Constantine. Not so good, but pretty close to what I expected. I like low-expectation movies! I got home at a decent hour and just completed 8 hours of sleep. For the past three days I've slept until I woke up and that's been quite nice. I think I'm closer at needing 7.5 hours. I hope that continues to decline as I age.
I had lunch out with a couple of girls from the new job yesterday and it was good; people are starting to become people (you know, you know things about them other than their role in the company). Good stuff. I like it...the job and the people. It's been three weeks! It's flown by.
Okay, so back to finishing my book...
