Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

My hands feel strangely disconnected from my arms.

And my arms from my body.

And my body from my neck.

And my head is left out all on it's own....

Feeling like it's the most important part.

Even though it couldn't possibly operate on it's own.

The heart claims half the fame,

But what it's most known for operates through the head.

It's harder to force the feelings than the natural pumping.

Pump, pump, pump.

Feel, feel, feel.

Think, think, think.

Seems like a long time since I wrote here, even thought it was really only a few days.  I'm back from Vegas and feeling well-rested (time change is nice) and productive.  Kristen picked me up and we grabbed some dinner so I could do a quick pouring of my thoughts on the weekend...though there weren't too many.  I got home and checked e-mailed and paid my bills online.  It was nice to see that work is definitely surviving well without me.  In my opinion, that means I did a good job transferring info over.  I've never been one to hide knowledge as a controlling mechanism.  I hate that so many people do that.  Be wanted because you can do the job, not because you're trying to make it so that no one else can.  I got a nice e-mail from a person on my new team saying how excited they were that I'd be joining the team.  Very nice.

Oh, so I was away.  First, before I left, I spent Thursday eve with Scott.  We went to Arundel Mills and did some shopping...I got two new "work shirts" but am still in search of some good shoes and a new purse and a belt or two.  I need to diet too 'cause I didn't buy the pants loose.  Oh, so we walked around a bit and then went to see "White Noise."  I thought it looked stupid, but we both enjoyed it and thought it did a good job of making you tense the whole time.  I got home and packed and asleep by 1 to get up at 7.

Lots of traveling to get to Vegas.  We got there and it was rainy.  We did a lot of walking Friday and Saturday....found some good restaurants and checked out the casinos.  Unfortuantely all the walking in the rain gave me YUCKY blisters.  Ouch.  So, by Sunday I still walked but wasn't feeling it.  Last night Chris went out on his own.  He did lots of stuff that I wouldn't have minded doing, but at the same time I enjoyed my evening in and saved some $$.  I did lose my max amount set, but I do enjoy the chance of having a bunch of extra money. heh.  So, yeah, I can't go to casinos too often.  Oh, Sunday the sun did come out and it was AMAZING how much more you could see.  A lovely area once you look past the fancy casinos....their nice mountain back-drop.

I'm glad to be home.  I'm excited about February.  I feel a bit out of sorts with myself, but think that's changing soon.  Yeah..
