Rebecca's Blog
Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

My dinner party turned out smaller than planned 'cause of last-minute-sickness-cancellations.  Still, it was very nice and the food and wine were yum.  Conversation, of course, was the most important part and it flowed nicely.  Yay!

I just threw out a plant that's been dead for a while.  It feels very representative of where I am right now.  It's an odd state, but very exciting when thinking beyond today to my future.  Yay!

My house is all ready for the girls; an hour early, of course.  I have a pretty salad, some fun cheeses, aspargus (which I'll quickly bake with some nice almonds) and wine for my contribution.  I'd feel so fancy if it weren't for my jeans and sweatshirt.  I'm me.  This is who I am.  This is my apartment that's all colorful and full of candles (i hope their scents aren't conflicting)...and junk.  These are my wine glasses with their cute little wine markers.  Welcome.  Let's drink and be merry.

When am I going to take the time to go through everything I own and get rid of stuff?  I know I would be happier if I could get that done...even the stuff out in my storage area...

I'm technically off work today, but have spent the day so far working.  It's nice to be in the PJ's though.  I could be a work-at-home-girl, for sure!  Maybe not full time, but a couple of days a week...
