I found out today, through a political mailing piece, that County Commissioner Jeff Thigpen, who is running as the Democratic candidate for Guilford County Register of Deeds, has a website and a weblog in support of his campaign.
In his weblog, most every post with starts with "Jeff does this, and Jeff does that" but at least he is blogging. His website is simple, but gets some points across.
Note to Jeff: Enable comments unless you don't want to hear what people have to say. Also, we have no idea of the date of your posts but the site alludes to the fact that you started back in June. Lastly, it might be helpful to read some other weblogs to discover that no one (at least no one who gets read) writes in a second person style. Almost every one of your posts comes off like a press release - but perhaps that what you believe a blog to be.
