Woody Cavenaugh is the only fencing coach I have ever known.  Actually I don't think I have ever known anyone who has ever worn one of those wierd bee-keeper-looking masks - the sport just seemed a little high-folutin' for an old Kentucky boy who has gleefully participated in cow-pie sports.

But, along with some help from an article in Sunday's N&R, Woody and Greensboro's Downtown Fencing Club are elevating the awareness and appreciation of fencing herabouts by putting on a tournament for a wide range of competitors last weekend.  Greensboro fared well.
