Last night, the conversation on my front porch turned to James Franklin Michaux.

For those of you not following the N&R's reports on this asshole's trial for killing his son, James Tyler - don't start trying to catch up on a full stomach because reporter Kory Dodd's chilling trial coverage will likely make you physically ill.  But if you want proof that true evil lives among us right here in Guilford County, read on.

It is hard to say, but 7-month-old James Tyler is better off dead than what he was enduring on this earth at the hands of this his demonic "father".

If there is a God in heaven, I hope She has arranged for a special place in hell for James Franklin Michaux - and I'm afraid I can't muster a whole lot of sympathy for his wife either - even if she has been diagnosed with battered wife syndrome.  From the article...

"...I seen him with his hand around James' throat and I said for him to stop," she said inside the Guilford County Courthouse here. "He said it was his kid and he'd do what he wanted to."  Fearful of her husband's wrath, Serita Michaux said she left the room and went back to her chores. She said she didn't think James Franklin "Frankie" Michaux was going to kill their son.

Well, she was wrong... dead wrong.

The hits just keep on coming to a post I make last December on my efforts to cancel a trial subscription to America Online.  Seems there is a never ending stream of folks who are so frustrated when they attempt to cancel what was supposed to be a benign offer for "50 Free Hours" of dial-up time with the default ISP for newbies, they turn to Google for guidance.  Glad to be of service.

Typing cancelling AOL into Google puts me at #3 in their hit parade.  The phrase cancel AOL membership gives the same result.  If I could just get a higher Google listing for AOL sucks, I'll be able to sell lots of high-dollar advertising on my blog.

For those who have been through it, you know that cancelling AOL and locking them out of your bank account is akin to cancelling a try-before-you-buy series of Time-Life's 'Age of Disco' CD compilation.  Once they grab you by the short and curlies, they just won't let go.

The comments and testimonials below my account of how I was finally able to get AOL out of my life have grown steadily over the past year culminating in a lengthy tirade just last night.  In addition, I have received 50 or so emails thanking me for the guidance as people attempt to exit AOL hell (currently #41 on Google... and climbing)
