Apparently Time Warner cable is having some big problems with their email system.  No Road Runner email is coming in and none will go out and it has been like this for nearly 24 hours.  Damn frustrating.

I have been negotiating a huge job to fix a bunch of windows at NCSU.  All of the estimates from suppliers as well as specifications from the architect were supposed to be on my desk this morning.

Oh well... what time does Oprah come on?

Do not - I repeat - do not ignore Ben Holder's weblog.  The Greensboro Troublemaker gets a fine article in today's N&R.

"...His latest target of guerrilla journalism is Guilford County commissioner Melvin "Skip" Alston.  Alston...accused city building officials last month of overreacting to Holder's blog rants when they sent inspectors to visit the apartment complex. the former head of the state NAACP legitimized Holder as a rabble-rouser, the mosquito that won't go away."

Shortly after he started blogging, I emailed Ben suggesting that he might consider toning it down a little lest he get marginalized as being a bit over-the-top.  Obviously he ignored my advice - and just as obviously - he was right in doing so.  Keep it up Ben - you're doing good things.
