THE FINAL FINAL WORD ON JOB BOARDS
You might be wondering at this point how to select the right web site(s) to begin your job search.  An excellent web site to begin your search is www.weddles.com.  In addition to quite a bit of free information, several books written by Peter Weddle are listed.   I recommend starting with Weedle's 2003 Job Seeker's Guide to Employment Web Sites by Peter Weddle and CliffNotes Finding a Job on the Web by Peter Weddle.  In addition to writing a lot of books he gives many training seminars to third party and corporate recruiters each year so he should have a pretty good idea of what he is talking about.   I have one of his books on my reference shelf.  The Weedle's 2003 Job Seeker's Guide to Employment Web Sites lists over 40,000 of "the best web sites" and only costs $14.95 if you order it from www.weddles.com or slightly less if you order it from Amazon.  I recommend that you also buy on ClffsNotes Finding a Job  The Web because it has some interesting insights on job searches on the web and it only costs $8.95.   I should confess at this point that I have a personal library that has more books than most small city libraries so you might want to go to your library's reference section before buying these books.  I have met Peter Weddle but unfortunately, I make no money endorsing his books, and since I have not written a book, I won't be asking for a book recommendation from him anytime soon.
