Trouble in River City: Law Enforcement Officials Gather for "Polygamy Summit". The "summit" will be held Friday in St. George. I can't help thinking the sudden interest government officials are taking in enforcing anti-polygamy laws is due to increased attention resulting from Krakauer's new book, although I have seen no official acknowledgment of a connection.
UPDATE (8/23): Here's the SL Trib article on what happened at the meeting. Polygamy isn't "Love, American Style," that's for sure.
