Mormon Website of the Week: Wives of Joseph Smith, a clean, uncluttered site listing the women married or "sealed" to Joseph Smith, their age, and (when applicable) their husband. Short biographies of each young woman are given. Some of the more interesting are: (1) Fanny Alger (Joseph's first plural wife); (2) Lucinda Morgan Harris (whose first husband was the infamous Captain Morgan who published Freemasonry Exposed in 1827); (3) Eliza R. Snow (the Mormon poetess); (4) the Partridge sisters (Emily and Eliza, daughters of Edwin Partridge, "sealed" to Joseph after Partridge's death); and (5) the Lawrence sisters (Sarah and Maria).
