Spring snow

I escaped the Boston area around 3:45 pm, just as the first flakes were flying. I was supposed to stay at a friend's tonight, figuring the snow would be piling up by the time I got out of my appointment. But the snow came later than expected and the driving was good, so I hit the highway and headed home before the evening commute bogged down. They're predicting 5-10 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow, and there's more snow due on Friday. Yes, Friday - the first day of Spring. The wind chill is now 9° F. I stopped at the grocery store in Grafton and picked up ingredients for turkey chili. No grilled fish and fruit salsa tonight.
