This stuff is great! My housemate, Kathy, is a first-year veterinary student and her class recently went to visit this dairy and watch the cows being milked and check out the calves and so on. She came back with a couple of tubs – I think the Cinnamon Sugar and either a plain one or Lemon Herb. I’ve already been buying the Cinnamon Sugar flavored butter at Whole Foods. Really yummy. Good comfort food with a cuppa tea.

Do you solemnly swear?

I love it when literary or linguistics-oriented folks write about swearing. Gail Armstrong has an interesting examination of why we swear over on Open Brackets. She also links to a BBCi article on The Origins and Common Usage of British Swear-words that is quite comprehensive, if you’re in the mood for that sort of thing. There’s also Joe Duemer’s bit that I posted about way back in October.

Busy today with work. Now waiting for return phone calls, and a con-call at 1:00. Really want to sleep some more. Maybe I can find time to squeeze in a quick nap sometime this afternoon.
