"They" say that print is dead because teens don't read. Don't tell that to the publisher of Seventeen Magazine -- in this interview with Mr. Magazine.
He also tackles the problems, not with print, but with the owners of print publications. For example, "Our dying newspapers have eliminated the need or even the want to be
picked up and have ignored, albeit with few exceptions, the simple
answer to the question What Is In It For Me (The WIIFM factor)." That's been my mission at Automation World, to create something people want to pick up. So far, so good. If you don't think so, please tell me why so I can fix it. Thanks.
