Actually, I'm doing quite fine, besides a good case of fatigue that has developed from several days of late nights and early mornings. Josh, however, is sick today, and I've been called home to help out. I'm working from home at the same time (in fact, I'm working even as I write this), since I managed to get Joseph to sleep. Poor Josh; I hate seeing him sick. He gets colds every now and then, and those make him miserable, but I think we (Josh included) are use to that. It's when he really gets sick, like today, that I feel so sorry for him.
He caught the "stomach flu" just after Joseph was born, and that was the first time that I can ever recall that he threw up; the look of confusion and fear was just heartbreaking. Eventually, he associated the whole mess of it with the bowl that I was using to...well, you know what you use a bowl to do when you've got the stomach flu. He started cringing any time I brought the bowl close to him, which I did any time he started coughing; he thought the bowl was the source of all his troubles.
I hope he gets better soon.
