The Brewers are back in business! [posted by Troy] So many good topics from the land of Iowa! Yes, stem cells! Happy birthday to Ella! I missed it. Doh! Sorry to the little one! The election, oh man, you miss a day, you miss alot. I have to keep an eye on that one. Thanks, for the update, Brewer.

On a seperate, blog-related note: "When and Where Does this Real World Begin" has been slowly rising through the Google rankings. As you may know, Google keeps a running "vote" of each page that it scans with its spiders. These votes come (roughly) from the number of other sites that link to your site. Thus, the more sites that link to you the closer to the top you become. We are moving up! Check out ranking on these searches:

Morbid but Interesting [posted by Troy] Reading about the lives of interesting people is cool, which is why many people out there like obits so much. Well, the Blog of Death is pretty much a running obiturary site. Each day there is a write-up about someone new and amazing who recently died. Like I said, morbid, but what a way to be remembered!

Click and Hold [posted by Troy] Here's a very cool time waster! Wait for this to load and them click your mouse and move it up or down. Moving your mouse will zoom you in or out of this photo that never ends. I like it. You have to wait a few seconds for this to load and then click start. Give it a shot.

Taking over a town near you! [posted by Troy] Everyone in the Chicago-land area was a buzz about the recent Sears/KMart merger. One of the reasons that the experts cited for this merger was to better compete with Walmart. While in Monterey, I was able to catch this Frontline special on Walmart. It reveals the ruthlessness of this Arkansas company, and the tactics it uses to force product producers to ship jobs oversears in order to keep price points low, so that Walmart can continue to sell products. Anyway, you can watch the episode for yourself at the PBS Web site. Those of you who live in Walmart-only towns may find this especially interesting.
