Chamomile Tea May Help Beat Colds, Cramps

This is a happy little article that offers scientific evidence for what we have known for a very, very long time: A cup of Chamomile tea is a healthy, soothing way to help your body ward off colds.

We don't offer
Chamomile through The Wellness Club - it is best when it is truly fresh, and we have not found a satisfactory way of ensuring that freshness. Dr. Myatt is very picky when it comes to the freshness and quality of the items that we offer! Given it's value for so many things, you can be sure that we are actively searching for a way to bring these benefits to you, and when we find the right combination of quality, efficacy, and value we'll be letting you know!

Also, when evaluating this study, as when evaluating any study, it is important to note who funded the study. This study was funded by a company which "develops plant-derived products", so as you might imagine, there could be some subtle pressure on the researchers to produce favorable results (just as the Big Drug Companies fund studies and apply pressure to produce "favorable" results for their offerings...) On the other hand, the methodology and results, as published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry lead me to have some confidence that this was a scientific clinical study, and that the results will be easy to reproduce in further studies.

Better yet, why not go with the "Wisdom of The Ages" and trust what your grandmother's grandmother recommended - a nice cup of
Chamomile tea!

Cheers,
Nurse Mark
