This morning I am flying from Warsaw (Poland) to Amsterdam. The flight was supposed to take off at 06:40 AM, but due to snow in Amsterdam only one runway is open. So air traffic control did not allow us to take off from here. After waiting in the plane for over an hour we were finally allowed to start the engines, but then the machine that puts external air into the engines to start them broke down. I hope we won[base ']t loose our slot at Schiphol because of this. I hate it when an early morning flight gets delayed. You have to get up early (my alarm rang at 04:20) and then you sit around waiting in an airplane.

The whole trip was actually a cumulation of delays and other problems. First the KLM flight from Shanghai was cancelled (luckily I managed to get rebooked on another flight the same day). In Munich extremely cold winter weather (-23 degrees at night time) caused an hour delay on my DBA flight from there due to de-icing of the plane. Yesterday a snow storm in Warsaw caused my Air Berlin flight from Duesseldorf to be delayed as well. And now this again. Only one flight to go this trip, hope that will be better!
