Last Sunday I got up early to get some work done. While working I suddenly felt a bit dizzy, as if my computer screen was moving. I got up and felt a bit shaky. I thought it was probably because of a combination of too much alcohol the night before (nice dinner party by the way, Alfred!) and a lack of sleep. I laid down on the couch and immediately felt much better. Did not think much of it until last night when I was catching up on the papers from Monday and Tuesday. The Shanghai Daily had an article that the Fukuoka earthquake was also felt in Shanghai, especially when you were above the 15th floor. I looked up the time of the earthquake, and the time minus one hour time difference with Japan fit exactly with my sudden dizzyness! I live on the 28th floor of a building, and that must have 'waved' a bit.
