Well, it did not get better (see last posting). It[base ']s now Thursday afternoon and I arrived at the airport over 30 hours ago. I am in a pretty bad mood because of this, so just a quick recap of what happened. First the flight to Shanghai was delayed 2 hours, but we had to board anyway. After about 5 hours on board we had still not departed. Then the message came from the captain that that the flight would be cancelled due to the heavy snow. At the airport things were chaotic, thousands of people who all did not know where to go. Personnel had no clue either what would happen. People were cueing in lines of a hundred people or more to rebook. I luckily had a phonenumber to rebook and that went quite OK. However, now I waiting to board once again, and was told that the flight is cancelled again. A quick search online confirmed that. Will go to gate now and see if there is any other way to get to Shanghai. This is driving me nuts.
