Nosce te ipsum

It is really an interesting time here on the web - the world is finally, finally making the transition away from all things proprietary and move towards all things standards based. Things like XML, CSS, OPML, RSS and now we have so many cool new apps that just wouldn't be possible without adherence to open standards. Anyway, along that topic, I'm finding myself using a web browser less and less each day (but at the same time, using the web more and more) - but these days, I do nearly everything via rss and blogs. To that end, I'm on the eternal quest for the perfect RSS client and I've been using NewsMac for quite a while now and the more I learn about it - the more I appreciate it. Today, I got NewsMac working with my Palm T3 so it now syncs my RSS feeds to ym Palm which is nice. Just yesterday we were sitting in a Karate tournament for hours on end and it would have been really nice to have had all this current great RSS feeds in my pocket.
