A quick shout out to Rob in the UK from Plasma Design for being one of the very few people to put out really high quality original designs specifically made for the beautiful new Apple 30" Cinema display. I've got this beast on my desk now and the resolution is so high that most typical backgrounds just have to scale so much that there is a definate quality loss which is why Rob's work is so appreciated.

At work I use a 23" Cinema display (the previous generation) and I honestly thought that was the single best display I had ever used yet somehow Apple managed to make it even better with the new displays. Take heart PC users, this time around you too can even use them. I just can't imagine this elegant display sitting next to some plastic 'me-too!' Dell box. Kind of like parking a Ferrari in the carport of an apartment building (old 70's reference).
