A picture named adam-curry-1.jpg

So PodCasting officially made it's big time media debut last night on the BBC's Culture channel. I asked a few friends in England to record it for me but within hours of the shows' airing, there was a really solid quality bit torrent of it available on Adams site. Props to MSMobiles for the screen captures. I got a good laugh about their headline on the page: Boiiiiing : Adam Curry and Podcasting hit mainstream media - so do not forget: Windows Mobile devices are PERFECT FOR PODCASTING TOO!

Yea, perhaps they are, but who'd want to? (I kid I kid, ok..not really). It's a fun, crazy and exciting time in the podcasting space right now and anything goes. It's only a matter of time before good old innovative Microsoft comes out with MSMobileCaster(TM) -- great, just what the world needs, another way to catach the latest virus.

In a quasi-related note, as much of a non-Windows fan as I am these days (sorry, far too many years wasted dealing with that company and their products), I couldn't help but feel bad when I read this one: Failed Win XP Upgrade Wipes Out UK Government Agency -- Hardly fair to blame that one on MS, more likely some heads will roll from their 'Solution Provider' - ouch!
