I gotta have more cowbell.

I had a nice weekend.  I had a good time consuming some drinks on Friday night and Saturday evening.  I got to watch Maryland actually win a road game, which was amazing in its own right.

I can say that the list of things that I needed to purchase has been completed, more or less.  On Saturday, I bought a nice small sofa for my living room.  No more ghetto-fabulous laying on my floor, as I can stretch out on the sofa.  I will have to report on its comforts after tonight's episode of 24

Unlike some of you out there who have the day off, I will not see this vacation day until sometime between Christmas and New Year's Day.  The nice part about today, though, is my camera arrived.  I have been playing with that, so that has been fun.  I won't know what to do, now, since I have a camera.  I can actually take photos of events I attend.  Wow.

I also bought some pots and pans from Sam's Club.  After much hemming and hawing, I found a nice generic set there, but it was nice and heavy and made out of stainless steel.  They work pretty well, too.  I need to now figure out what to actually cook in them.

Aside from that, work is slow today.  My commute was niec and uneventful, with most people enjoying the holiday.  We have a lot of people out of the office as well, so it is pretty calm around here.  I am overlooking some stuff on our disaster recovery project, so more dry reading ahead of me.

If you have off today, go do something productive.  And mock me, too.
