Book Reviews from participants in the Pollinate Your Mind Summer Reading Club
Not Easily Broken by T. D. Jakes: This book takes you through many emotions: madness-depression-romance-love-sadness-and then finally to happy.
Whispers by Dean Koontz: Thriller with a twist. Excellent. a screenwriter is targeted by a madman who has multiple lives and no one will believe her. You can guess at the ending, but chances are, you will be wrong.
Soul Harvest by Tim LaHaye: The fourth book in the Left Behind series, my favorite since the first makes the book of Revelations come to live. Very hard to put down.
Avalanche by Patrick McManus: McManus' foray into the murder mystery genre is successful! Entertaining and sometimes comic characters make it an amusing, captivating story. Best read after the first one, "The Blight Way".
Penny by Joyce Meyer: A delightful light read. (I find pennies in strange places and believe they are from my younger brother in Heaven).
Kilmeny of the Orchard by L. M. Montgomery: Montgomery writes a sweet and poignant romance to satisfy your "happily-ever-after" cravings.
