Killing Ground by Jack Higgins: I really enjoyed this book. He (Higgins) incorporates a lot of stuff that we Americans worry about.
RV There Yet? by Diann Hunt: Hilarious!
Private Patient by P. D. James: P. D. James is always a good read. I liked the book and the Dalgleish mysteries are always great. I like the stodgy English ways, speech, sayings, and characters. Highly recommend this book for a great bedtime or beach read-even better a cold winter night read in front of a well set fire.
Bride by Command by Linda Winstead Jones: This was a long read. It had a sometimes hard to follow plot with too many characters to keep straight at a time. In the end it was a good read but a lot of plot and character changes leading up to it.
House of Dreams by Brenda Joyce: Very good read. Keeps your interest. Cass at the castle.
Dog Named Christmas by Greg Kincaid: This was a good read. Would be a good book for a 5th-6th grader. Kind of a lassie type book/theme. It shows obstacles faced by a mentally challenged boy and his love of his dog, named Christmas.
Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury: A very inspirational book that shares the struggles of life without faith and the importance of faith. And how faith makes all things in life possible.
Langford's Starting Photography by Michael Langford: This book was extremely informative as far as providing me with enough information to understand the different settings to sue while taking pictures. I learned about different shutter speeds and I feel completely informed on how to take appealing pictures.
Remedy by Michelle Lovric: Before each chapter is an alchemical recipe that serves as a foreshadowing device. At times brutal and at other times inescapably beautiful.
Lonely Silver Rain by John D. Macdonald: Another good Travis McGee mystery story. Good plot, writing, action, characters.
