Wow, the Niners were down two touchdowns, so Maryam and I went for a walk. Walk's over and the Niners won. Wild. Oh, what the heck, needed the exercise anyway and got some awesome pictures. Maybe I'll watch the rest on the Tivo, maybe not.

Today is a weird day in the Scoble household. A year ago I was moving out of my ex-wife's house. Eight years ago today Maryam's dad died. So, today is an anniversary of endings and beginnings. Oh, speaking of beginnings, Radio UserLand 8.0 shipped just about a year ago too. I wonder if Dave is planning anything big for the anniversary of that event? Man, so much has happened in only one year.

Maryam and I made the one-hour trek to San Francisco last night to hang out with Gnome-Girl and friends. They had a party that made me flash back to high school. They were playing 70s disco hits and had a variety of beverages on the table in a small room in a small hotel in San Francisco. Stretched out on the beds were a variety of bloggers from around the world. Mostly people who I don't read. I'm off to learn about who I met. It's nice to meet a totally different part of the blog space in person, even before I started reading their weblogs. Not many geeks, though, although Maryam said what was funny was here were a group of people who really didn't know much about each other taking pictures of each other. Anyway, thanks Chey for inviting us, you're the best. Believe me, 2003 is gonna be better for you.
