OK, I'm now online in the IRC chat. If you want to be invited in, you have to visit Joi Ito's chat room and ask for an invite.
It's lunchtime here. I'm posting anything I see from the Blog Business Summit on my link site. Also, after lunch they are getting the IRC chat room working. Turns out that Freenode opened up a port for us to get around the limitations of the conference center's network. The new port is 8001.
How important is a good API/platform? Well, it is job #1 to Microsoft. Look at MobilePoint's medical products, for instance. Here's an app that only a small number of people can use. You probably don't care about this app. But I know intimately that without ISVs like MobilePoint Microsoft wouldn't be what it is today.
So, thank you MobilePoint for taking a bet on the TabletPC and our technology.
Oh, and thanks to Christopher Coulter who told me he saw a demo of their software and emailed me: "this stuff is IMPRESSIVE."
Andrew Davey is kicking butt. First he did a news aggregator for the SmartPhone OS, now he's released Pocket iPodder for the PocketPC.
Programmer productivity in action. It's written in .NET.
Hey, Andrew, next weekend can you work on one for the Tablet PC? :-)
Darn, the wireless here doesn't support IRC, so can't do live chat.
Thanks, John Porcaro, for the kind words. Someday I'll get those Xbox 2.0 secrets outta you!
