Interesting that Slashdot hasn't linked to the Ballmer thing yesterday. Maybe they belong to the Andrew Orlowski "we-must-not-link-to-or-acknowledge-Scoble" school of reporting. Heh.

What's fun is that Ballmer, in the interview yesterday, took a swipe at open source and IBM and Oracle. Surely that'd be worth getting the Slashdotters all riled up.

By the way, did you see that several games stores are already taking pre-orders for the Xbox 360? The stores I've checked already have dozens of pre-orders and the stores don't know availability or pricing yet. It's gonna be a wild Christmas season.

Now, you might think it's unfair to pick on Technorati today (their blog is reporting extreme loads because of the London bombings) but I've been comparing Technorati to Bloglines for a while and the difference has been striking everytime. Bloglines is pulling back more stuff than Feedster or Pubsub too.

But, Technorati is doing great stuff other places. I appreciated its London Bombing page. Dave Sifry reports more on the London Bombings.

By the way, I've gotta give Jeff Sandquist credit for pointing out Bloglines Citations to me. He's been raving about it for months.
