I've been on the phones for most of the afternoon. Patricia and I had agreed we would definitely look for some interesting projects to do this year. You can really tell that the dutch showbusiness industry has retuurned from vacation and ramping up.
There are 10 commercial stations in the Netherlands, and 3 public television stations. All looking to fill vast quantaties of airtime. That means plenty of projects to choose from. To my advantage, I listened to entertainment mogul Robert Evans' autobiography The Kid Stays in the Picture. I bought it from audible.com and listened to all 6 1/2 hours of it on my XDA on trips to and from Amsterdam.
Evans reads his own work, straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. I learned a few key lessons from his experiences that I'm applying in my own situations. They work amazingly well. I highly recommend this book on audio and certainly plan to see the movie!
