It is May and it is raining here in central California. Cool!
Not that it never happens, but it is certainly not typical. I went out for a walk this morning expecting some clouds and ended up turning around as the storm came in.
Now I'm watching the weather carefully since I'm supposed to climb Mt. Shasta next weekend. The plan is to get to the base of the mountain on Saturday, climb to Helen Lake base camp on Sunday, attemp the peak on Monday, and drive home on Tuesday.
