Division Playoffs Topsy-Turvy...and I'm Loving It!

My thinking and conventional wisdom, seldom seen in the same part of the Universe together, agreed before playoffs started that we were in for Rerun City. Yanks and D-backs. Yanks probably win this time. Yawn.

Now the Pinstripers are down 2 games to 1 and the D-Backs are down 2-0 heading for St. Louis. Both of the favorites could be gone today and will likely be gone in four.

Time to reassess.

If it's the Giants and the Cards, I like the Giants' chances.

If it's the A's and the Angels, the A's will definitely win the AL.

So my earlier comment about no Bay Bridge Series? Fuhgeddaboudit. It could well happen.

I Need to Keep Reminding Myself of This

Isaac Asimov. "You must keep sending work out; you must never let a manuscript do nothing but eat its head off in a drawer. You send that work out again and again, while you're working on another one. If you have talent, you will receive some measure of success - but only if you persist." [Motivational Quotes of the Day]
