In the last two presidential elections, I voted for the Green Party and Ralph Nader. The Green Party did and still does represent my views better than either of the main two parties. Bill Clinton lost my vote when he backed off from raising grazing fees. Al Gore could never separate himself from George Bush, so never earned my vote.

This time around, however, is different. George Bush has clearly separated himself from more moderate and left leaning candidates. And while John Kerry and John Edwards are far to conservative for my liking, we cannot afford four more years of neo-con idiocy.

So I will vote for a Democrat. And while the democratic party does not do enough to make me happy on issues of the environment, corporate, and governmental control, the other party makes it easy to vote against them.

Now I wish that the Green Party would get it's act together and become a player in the race. Then I might feel like I have a say in the elections. Until that happens, I will vote for the lesser of two evils, and this year, that's John Kerry.
