Bada-bing! It worked! I'm posting from Radio's news Aggregator to a local copy of Movable Type using the Manila-Blogger Bridge Tool.

Need help? Let me know! The hardest part was modifying the mt-mxlrpc.cgi script to parse HTML. I found the applicable code in the MT support forums, but when I tried to modify the perl script, I broke something. Several trips to my apache error logs later, though, I worked out all the bugs.

[Mon Feb 25 21:31:46 2002] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of script headers: /Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables/mt-xmlrpc.cgi Unrecognized character xCA at /Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables/mt-xmlrpc.cgi line 268.

A List Apart: Slash Forward (Some URLs are better than others). “Chances are, you’ve come across an example of poor link structure in your many travels online. The problem is that most of the time, developers don’t even realise that they’re needlessly taxing their server (even if it’s just a smidge).” [mac.scripting.com]

I'm so guilty of this.  8:47:27 PM  permalink   Add a comment

Urban Iditarod. "Brian Sobolak, an unindicted co-conspirator of the Squid that Laughs, passes along a pointer to the Urban Iditarod: In the Alaskan Iditarod, more than sixty dog sled teams race across the frozen tundra from Anchorage to Nome. In our urban version, teams of "dogs"..." [More Like This WebLog]
