Phil Ackley's Radio Thingumabob

There is a song I heard on Frankie Boots a while back, and I can't, for the life of me, remember the title or artist. Something about mamba or mambo or moms. It was by a South American musician, I think.

I've got it on the tip of my tongue, but can't quite find it. Can you help me figure it out?

Update: Gary Young thinks he might be able to pin it down with a few more hints. Here you go, Gary:

1) The musician is singing in sort a pidgin english.

2) Near the end of the song there's a refrain in what I remember as French, but it's been a while. I suppose it could have been Spanish (which would make more sense) or Italian.

That's about all I have. I can't remember any of the lyrics, or the title would probably be easy to grasp.  7:16:10 PM  permalink   Add a comment
