Mars again
At about 12:15 last night, I got out the Dobsonian 8" scope, and spent about an hour with Mars. I was pleased to see the Dob needed no collimation, it was crisp and clear almost to the edges. Mars was beautiful; The southern ice cap is small but prominent. The moon is nearing full, so last night was probably the last good night to see Mars for at least a week, maybe longer.
