Old Dylan hands have been down this road before, but via The Minor Fall, The Major Lift a link to this terrific investigation by Ian Frazier into what happened to William Zantzinger. You know you almost -- almost! -- have to feel sorry for this Zantzinger dude. Dylan immortalized him -- name misspelled and all -- in an incredibly brilliant song.

File this under 'everything you know is wrong.' I read a few years ago that the speed of light wasn't constant, and the main thing I've found about it on the web is this story about a group of astronomers who think the speed of light has slown down since the beginnings of time.
