Autumn Moon. A few years ago Dennis di Cicco worked out the exact time and location of Adams'Moonrise, Hernandez New Mexico,a nd published a fascinating piece on it in Sky and Telescope (alas, they don't have their articles all online). Here's a nice piece on dating Adams' Moon and Half Dome.
