Taiwanese Navy - Taiwan will spend 50% of its defense budget in the future on upgrading its navy with Kidd-class destroyers, submarines, P-3 Orions and MH-53 helicopters. Taipei Times: Navy pushed to the front lines of defense spending [nosi News] I'm sure this will make the US Navy happy. They've been trying to unload those Kidd-class destroyers ever since getting stuck with them by the fall of the Shah. If I were going to switch OSes just to play a game (and I'm not), why on earth would I want to switch to OS X? The new instant messaging support in Radio seems to work pretty well, although the documentation could use a bit of improvement. The trick that gave me trouble was that the Blogger API must first be enabled in the Radio prefs.
