Taiwanese Navy - Taiwan will spend 50% of its defense budget in the future on upgrading its navy with Kidd-class destroyers, submarines, P-3 Orions and MH-53 helicopters.
[nosi News]
I'm sure this will make the US Navy happy. They've been trying to unload those Kidd-class destroyers ever since getting stuck with them by the fall of the Shah. It'll be strange reading news from Jane's Information Group without the ubiquitous "<some US ally here> has declined to buy four Kidd-class destroyers" story.

According to this discussion thread on Mac Neverwinter Nights, the Mac version will really be for OS X. If I were going to switch OSes just to play a game (and I'm not), why on earth would I want to switch to OS X? I'd rather just switch to Windows for games, since there are so many more PC games available.

This message was posted via AOL Instant Messanger. The new instant messaging support in Radio seems to work pretty well, although the documentation could use a bit of improvement. The trick that gave me trouble was that the Blogger API must first be enabled in the Radio prefs. If you don't do that, the error I got before is returned.

I tried to set up the new instant messaging support using AOL Instant Messanger. Mostly it worked, but I wasn't able to post via AIM. I could login successfully, but any post attempt returned an error:
Can't call the "post" method because an error occurred: "The server, 127.0.0.1, returned error code 4: Access denied.".
