    | Taiwanese Navy - Taiwan will spend 50% of its defense budget in the future on upgrading its navy with Kidd-class destroyers, submarines, P-3 Orions and MH-53 helicopters.

I'm sure this will make the US Navy happy. They've been trying to unload those Kidd-class destroyers ever since getting stuck with them by the fall of the Shah. It'll be strange reading news from Jane's Information Group without the ubiquitous "<some US ally here> has declined to buy four Kidd-class destroyers" story.8:03:25 PM

    | According to this discussion thread on Mac Neverwinter Nights, the Mac version will really be for OS X. If I were going to switch OSes just to play a game (and I'm not), why on earth would I want to switch to OS X? I'd rather just switch to Windows for games, since there are so many more PC games available.

    | This message was posted via AOL Instant Messanger. The new instant messaging support in Radio seems to work pretty well, although the documentation could use a bit of improvement. The trick that gave me trouble was that the Blogger API must first be enabled in the Radio prefs. If you don't do that, the error I got before is returned.

    | I tried to set up the new instant messaging support using AOL Instant Messanger. Mostly it worked, but I wasn't able to post via AIM. I could login successfully, but any post attempt returned an error:

Can't call the "post" method because an error occurred: "The server, 127.0.0.1, returned error code 4: Access denied.".2:34:41 AM
