Seatguru.com. For those few that do still fly. Here is a way to handicap seats. [John Robb's Radio Weblog]
The site depends on some sort of pop-up menus that don't work in iCab. Not that it matters much to me, as I'm no longer willing to subject myself to airport "security" just to travel someplace.

Historian Stephen Ambrose, Author of Band of Brothers, Dead at 66. The band of the brothers of World War II veterans lost their greatest champion early Sunday when best-selling historian Stephen E. Ambrose, 66, died at a Bay St. Louis, Miss., hospital, after a long battle with lung cancer.
Ambrose, an armchair Ernie Pyle, wrote mainstream books including Band of Brothers, later made into a television miniseries, that repopularized historical and fictional accounts of World War II and made America's aging veterans hometown heroes again. [Fox News]
