I WAS GOING TO BLOG DOUG THOMPSON'S CLAIM that Bush called the U.S. Constitution "just a goddamned piece of paper." But then I decided: Why bother? It's not like we're exactly surprised to learn that this is the viewpoint of anybody in Washington, DC, right? Still, Bush's comment is right up there with Nixon's, "When the President does it, that means that it is not illegal." [Wolfesblog] Indeed.
