A picture named cup_coffee.gifSaturday Coffee Talk

This one is going to be brief. The hard drive on the Omnibook is about to bite the big one. It appears there's thermo problem with the IBM Microdrive, very much like the 4 other drives I've replaces under warranty on this machine. It's time to go. I've got a couple feelers out on finding new Toshiba 30 Gb tomorrow, and get it installed and mirrored before I head to San Diego.

Should anyone need to talk to me.. email me.  And wish me luck.

NASA Science News for July 19, 2002 - This weekend Earth will enter the outskirts of a cloud of comet debris.  It marks the beginning of the annual Perseid meteor shower, which peaks on August 12th and 13th. The warmth of northern summer makes the Perseids one of the year's most inviting sky shows.
