Dan Gillmor really hits the nail on the head. Ashcroft and company caved in to Microsoft. In the end it was so much sound and fury for nothing. Microsoft is free to abuse the marketplace, and has already been accused of violating the agreement. Is this any surprise coming from a company who complied to one ruling with a version of Windows that didn't work. With Microsoft, you have made a deal with the devil, and this devil, like any other looks for any way to squirm out of an agreement. It is now left the the EU to solve this problem.
