I'm not very wew
I have a nasty cold. *Insert sound effect here*

I've got to be better for New Year's Eve. For the first time in ages I'm actually going out to a club - Club Montepulciano at Blackheath Halls. The ticket is bought. I've even splashed out on some glad rags. It's going to be fab.

If I don't feel up to it, I'm going to be one grumpy chicken.

A request
If you are someone who works in web technology for a business, could you try to encourage your employer to publish their job opportunities in RSS format? Big companies might want to publish several feeds, divided up by job category, so people can subscribe only to the feeds that are relevant.

If you need to know why RSS feeds are useful, please see this discussion for one view on the subject.

Local History
I was Googling local street names out of curiosity, and I've just found out that Joseph Martin, the official police photographer who took the pictures of the victims of Jack the Ripper, used to live on Canton Street, just a few yards from where I live. He was killed in a traffic accident in 1933.
