City of Sound points to Chris Heathcote's London-based quiz 58 London Things, a very difficult visual quiz.

Across the USA, by Space Hopper - You’ll Believe a Man Can Bounce

One man and his space hopper battles with a continent.

This epic journey shows Julius Welby, poet, explorer and Buddhist, and his faithful support team, as they cross North America from New York to Los Angeles. The series follows Julius in this epic pilgrimage as he battles with exhaustion, the elements and rubber-fatigue. Thrill as he Space Hoppers to the very edge of the Grand Canyon. Follow the puffs of dust as he crosses Death Valley, vultures circling. From the New York maelstrom, through the prairies and the Rocky Mountains, the changing terrain reflects changes within the fabric of his being. The splendour of the States is laid bare through one man’s journey into himself.

His support team include a painter and a musician. As the journey continues they visit artists, sculptors, musicians and alternative places of interest across the USA. Driven on by true pioneer spirit and the superb music soundtrack, how can they fail?

The team is hoping to attract sponsorship for his journey from the makers of the Space Hopper, to provide a number of Hoppers for different terrain and weather conditions expected. Sponsorship from sports wear manufacturers is also anticipated. Julius is already in training for the rigours ahead and will be starting the journey in Summer 1994.

(An old pitch for a TV series I just found. It still seems like a good idea. Maybe a film?)

Digital Sucks is a newish toy camera photography site. There's not too many pictures on the site yet, but the Picture of the Day page is already worth looking at. Plastic lovers may want to submit their work.

Update: Check out Junk Store Cameras for some great shots with a very wide variety of vintage 'junk' cameras.
