iStudio - CVS for music
I'm working on a handful of songs, and I want to start a log on each one. So every time I record "share this moment", I can add that recording to a log, then browse my songs and compare different logs of any one song. I could even rank various logs, and/or let you, my friends, share your thoughts as well.
tables person - id - name - role - contact
projects - id - title
documents - id - type - file
notes - id - text
logs - project id - note id
collaborators - person id - project id
sessions - date - project id - document id - note id
User experience - sign in - click on new project - click on add session - form:file upload - create document - create session, auto date

working on hooks
I'm focusing on hook lines (duh) and trying to imagine how lenny writes his songs. He's a groove-singer: get's into a vibe and just hangs out there. Feel Train is an excellent example of his vocal groove.
I've got a few grooves goin on: daddy's comin home time to stop share this moment
I'm listening to tonights recording right now. I'm actually really happy with it :-) and already have some ideas on how to make the workflow easier...

mantra words: practice, discipline, concentration
For two fridays in a row now, I've spent some time with the guitar. great to be back into it! but I'm also trying to be more disciplined about it. First off, I'm recording myself every week. SCARY!
...But not as scary as I had imagined. I noticed something tonight that feels like a bit of a breakthru: concentration is the name of the game!. And even now as I reflect on it, I can see how little concentration I've practiced in my life before the last few years.
so I've been focusing on concentration and combining it with my previous mantra words:
practice practice, discipline practice, discipline, concentration

I know who you are
alright, its time to stop pretending I don't know who reads my blog. I know who you are, all 5 of you... okay, all four of you! :-)
I want to thank you for coming by as frequently as you do.

GoogleCooking
Brilliant! Megnut's mom, who once was guest host on Meg's blog, has invented a new idea -- googlecooking. Meg says "My mother types whatever ingredients she has on hand into Google and then picks the most appealing recipe returned in the results." Smart! [Scripting News]
