Macromedia uses weblogs as dev relations
Gosh, only 8 articles about weblogs on Business 2.0. That seems rather small. I wonder if we could get an update to the Macromedia article. In particular, I'd like to get any metrics they may have: defect rate, report-to-fix rate, increased sales, increased productivity, anything really...

Google takes the Blogosphere pulse
Google can do weblog channels. They've already started, they just call them categories. OK, so now all Google has to do is let me create a few new categories, and then constantly update the results. Gosh, now that sounds like saved searches and search bots that report in XML.

Even the blogosphere needs hubs!
we shouldn't be afraid to build hubs for the blogosphere. Henry Jenkins may be arguing against this, but this post on e.thepeople gets closer to the truth: we want someone else to filter the weblogs. What the internet does over traditional broadcasting is emplower true competition for aggregators.

The Business of Weblogs
I'm getting more and more fired up about weblogs. This is the next wave. It might not be a large wave: in some senses its just another software category. But in other ways, weblogs empower on the scale of html, email, and im. It's the next level to html. So the question is, can I build a great weblog experience, and sell it to one of the big three?
One of the first people to touch base with must be Henry Jenkins!
