Rabbit-Proof Fence
Having done some trailwork yesterday morning, I was somewhat
sore yesterday evening and today. But last night we watched
the film Rabbit-Proof Fence. The (true!) story of that film
involves three young girls, the oldest being 14, who escape from
their internment camp/school and then walk home. Over 1200 miles.
Through exceptionally desolate Australian bush country.
In nine weeks. (Averaging over 19 miles a day.)
With the authorities searching for them the whole time.
So I didn't even get the satisfaction of complaining about
how sore I was from doing the trailwork.
