Analyze and fix line endings
I worked at Apple, on Mac OS X, so I had numerous times where the line-ending issues bit me. Now I work with Windows and Unix and line-ending issues still bite. I use a script called
"cranal"
to tell me about a file, and converters called
"m2u",
"u2m", "w2u", and "u2w".
I don't think I've ever needed "m2w" or "w2m", so I never wrote them.
Some of these are in my static site's
sw directory,
which I took this opportunity to spruce up a bit.
