BlogsForBush is claiming that the exit polls show that the voters "disapproval of the liberation of Iraq and 'anger' at President Bush." Well they certainly show that the Dems are looking for a candidate to beat the President. I think the voters convictions are probably a bit deeper, don't forget healthcare, the enonomy, judicial appointments, cronyism in dealing with big business, gay and lesbian rights (including marriage), abortion rights, immigration policies, out-sourcing of jobs, corporate scandals, and bullying the Congress and state legislatures across the country. Many issues will be debated over the next few months. Blogs for Bush goes on to name a few of the President's accomplishments. Note: BlogsForBush is not an official Bush/Cheney '04 website.
Mike Littwin writes about how badly the Democrats want someone that can beat President Bush in his column in today's Rocky Mountain News [February 4, 2004, "Littwin: Electability fever soaring for Kerry"]. The editorial staff on the Rocky think that it's time to examine John Kerry's character and beliefs [February 4, 2004, "Time for clarity from the front-runner"].
Update: Clay Shirky analyzes the successes, innovations and failures of the Dean campaign.
Update: Dave Winer: "Next time we, as citizens, decide to endow a candidate with millions of our dollars, let's find out first what they plan to do with it. If they say "run ads" or hire expensive consultants, let's pass. A new term to go with this idea: Voter Support Systems."
