Denver November 2004 Election

The makeup of the Colorado State House of Representatives is the subject of this article from the Denver Post [September 24, 2004, "Election could change tenor of House's ideological battles"]. From the article, "With the House controlled 37-28 by Republicans, the fights were not so much between Democrats and the GOP as they were between moderate and conservative Republicans...Keith King, the House Republican leader, said the House will likely become more conservative if the GOP can pick up 40 or more of the 65 seats. The party with 33 or more seats controls the chamber's agenda."

Here's an article about the battle for control of the Colorado State Senate from the Denver Post [September 24, 2004, "Key Senate races draw cash"].
